Overview

Janitor position (Everett, WA Air Traffic Control Tower) – Part-time. Government contract custodian worker. The position may include a combination of the following tasks: sweeping, mopping or scrubbing and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms; and disinfecting high-touch areas (doorknobs, light switch covers, desktops, etc). This is a part-time position: MON, WED, FRI – 2 hours a day (times to be discussed).

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing and polishing floors
• Removing trash and other refuse
• Dusting equipment, furniture, and fixtures
• Cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms
• Disinfecting high-touch areas (doorknobs, light switch covers, desktops, etc.)

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred
• Good communication skills
• Full background check and drug screening are required
• Must pass agency and federal background checks and be authorized to work in the US
• The Custodian’s job is physically demanding and requires the ability to move, carry and store items and clean spaces with furniture, floors and carpets
• Applicants must have the physical capacity to perform these tasks

Pay and Schedule

• Wage: $20.22 plus $4.93 benefit allowance, resulting in an effective wage of $25.15/hr
• Part-time schedule: MON, WED, FRI, ~2 hours per day (times to be discussed)
