Compensation Range: $16.50-19.00/Hour

*Range depends on experience

Purpose

The janitor is responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and maintaining neat and tidy areas. Tasks include vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash, and replacing liners.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vents, restrooms, etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance
• Carry out deep cleaning and special projects
• Report deficiencies or repair needs to management
• Make minor repairs and adjustments
• Maintain supply rooms
• Collaborate with staff
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Adherence to safety and security procedures
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate written information
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and operate equipment
• Follow schedules and directions
• Demonstrate professionalism
• Manage time effectively and work independently or in a team

Working Conditions
