Overview

Janitor - Days B at Lamb Weston, Richland, WA. This role cleans and maintains sanitary conditions in employee facilities.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms, including floors, stalls, urinals, toilets, sinks, fixtures and walls.


• Stocks restrooms with paper products and soap.


• Sweeps, mops, and waxes hallways and cafeteria as required.


• Maintains a clean and sanitary lunchroom by cleaning tables, counters, floors and walls; empties and changes liners in garbage cans.


• Washes windows and doors.


• Performs basic cleaning of Warehouse offices and Break room, Maintenance, Personnel and Supervisors offices.


• Uses safety signs and barricades appropriately.


• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals usage and technique.


• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.


• Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.


• Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. (Requirement may vary by location.)


• Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.

Physical Environment / Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.


• Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.


• Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies.


• Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.


• Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.


• Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment.


• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


• Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20°F to 90°F depending on area (Freezer/Plant operations).


• Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis.

Compensation: $21.90 per hour (estimated; varies by location and other factors).
