Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to clean office space, restrooms, break and lunchroom areas, remove trash, operate floor cleaner and power washers, and clean up spills.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the scheduled work, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
  • Clean and vacuum floors in the office and conference spaces.
  • Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
  • Remove all trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean up all spills in the store, and use a power washer to clean sidewalks.
  • Dust and wash surfaces.
  • Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in all break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
  • Resupply items as needed.
  • Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
  • Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
  • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
  • Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.

  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs

  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, PPE up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
