To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria: Be 18 years old or older, Have a documented disability and be able to provide documentation, have a REAL ID or passport, Be able to pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Janitorial Supervisor and perform cleaning and maintenance of assigned buildings according to contract standards.
• Complete assigned janitorial duties according to your schedule and quality control standards.
• Practice safety precautions in the application and use of supplies (including handling of hazardous materials) and follow universal precautions.
• Practice safe lifting procedures and assist with other duties as assigned by the Team Leads or Supervisor.
• Be flexible with duties and schedule changes; act as a responsible steward of agency resources.
• Provide transportation to and from worksites, if necessary, as required for the route.
• Other duties as assigned by the Janitorial Supervisor.

Work environment

The janitor performs work in a professional setting and may come into contact with clients.

Physical demands

Push, pull or carry up to 40 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs frequently. Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and be exposed to cleaning chemicals. May be exposed to heat and cold and dust.
