Pastry - Part Time at Disneyland Resort summary:
The Pastry - Part Time position involves utilizing culinary skills to create delicious pastries in fast-paced dining environments at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or Central Bakery. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of culinary experience or a culinary degree, showcasing a passion for baking and commitment to excellent guest service. Flexible scheduling is required for this dynamic role, which also offers opportunities for career advancement within Disney Culinary.
Hourly Pastry opportunities may include:
- Pastry Line/Dinner Cook
Basic Qualifications :
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for these roles
- Passion for Pastry & Baking and delighting our Guests with food!
- Strong experience with cakes, plated desserts, and working in banquet and restaurant environments
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field/restaurants, or culinary degree and equivalent experience
- Ability to follow and understand recipes in a mass volume environment
- Multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrate a desire to provide excellent guest service and be part of a team
- Strong listening skills and ability to take direction
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.
