Overview

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation—inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact. We blend digital and human capabilities with diverse, global teams that bring deep industry and functional expertise to spark change. We deliver solutions through management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose.

We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You’ll Do

You’re essential to our office and to our success. In this role, you’ll support Managing Directors & Partners (MDPs) by ensuring they have what they need to serve clients and meet internal commitments. You anticipate needs, plan ahead, and prevent problems. Responsibilities include scheduling and rescheduling meetings, booking and unbooking travel, managing case team logistics, tracking time and expenses, and keeping pace with a fast-moving Consulting Team. We operate in a hybrid model—in the office about half the time with the option to work remotely the other half. In the office, you’ll be part of a community of motivated, service-minded colleagues. You will help shape our culture by collaborating across functions and supporting other members of the Business Services Team (BST). Our philosophy is to grow by growing others, and you will serve as a role model to more junior Admin team members.

We won’t define a single career path for you, but past hires in this role have progressed to Senior Executive Assistant positions, moved into Practice Areas, managed teams, or rotated into other functions. Your career at BCG will align with your skills, desires, and the firm’s needs, and will be limited only by your initiative.

What You’ll Bring

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s degree, strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or customer service experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (supporting senior executives preferred)

Behaviors and Mindset

  • High customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and grow
  • Insightful, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Relationship-focused and a team player
  • Lives and breathes our values; inclusive and collaborative
  • Good judgment, professional and diplomatic, with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Flexible and self-motivated with a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Passion and authenticity in bringing your best self to work

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of a motivated, close-knit team reporting to the Administrative Services Manager. The team is collaborative and supportive, with mentoring and developmental guidance as you grow your career at BCG.
