AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year.

AdventHealth Tampa is home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research, caring for Tampa Bay’s hearts for over 35 years.

The Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads in clinical and academic research in neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery, and more, contributing valuable knowledge toward cures for conditions like heart failure and cancer.

The Role You'll Contribute

The Executive Assistant supports assigned Vice President(s) by managing their calendars, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, conferences, and travel. Prepares reports and presentations, maintains confidential files, and handles correspondence. May assist with project management, budget tracking, statistical reporting, or other departmental tasks.

  • Responds to inquiries via phone, visits, and correspondence.
  • Maintains and optimizes the executive’s calendar.
  • Handles all communications for the department.
  • Drafts documents and manages invoice processes.
  • Assists with troubleshooting invoices and preparing expense reports.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4-5 years of related experience required.
