Overview
PDT Partners, a quantitative investment manager, seeks a sharp, fast learner who’s excited to support senior leaders in our research organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who has outstanding administrative skills and a knack for excelling with minimal direction.
Our ideal hire can seamlessly handle core admin responsibilities (managing complex calendars, drafting correspondence) while streamlining procedures and collaborating on larger events and projects. No task is too small or too large.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as are independence, integrity, and discretion. This position reports to a senior member of our EA team and involves working with colleagues across the firm, from business operations to researchers and technologists.

Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform an array of admin + personal work for senior leaders with precision, reliability, and promptness (including scheduling, answering emails and calls, arranging complex travel, ordering meals, etc.).
- Project management across multiple locations and contexts.
- Contribute to special projects and event planning from start to finish.
- Continuously seek ways to improve administrative and operational efficiency.
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the firm.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Available outside of normal work hours and travel when necessary.
Skills and Experiences
- 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Energetic, friendly, and ambitious team player who can prioritize and follow through.
- Curious, practical, and creative with exceptionally high attention to detail—able to identify root causes and fix them.
- Can-do, empathetic spirit with poise when the unexpected arises.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an excellent academic program.
The salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $150,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential bonus amounts. Factors that may impact the agreed-upon salary within the range include years of experience, level of education obtained, skill set, and other external factors.
