What you will do (Job Summary)
As a Robotic Welder, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining robotic welding equipment, including programming the robot, loading and unloading materials, monitoring the welding process, inspecting weld quality, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to produce welded metal components according to specifications.

Core responsibilities include the following areas:
- Safety
- Follow all safety rules and adhere to core company values
- Maintain general work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Ensure proper operation of machines and tools; report repairs or issues to the team lead or supervisor
- Quality
- Confirm material, sizes, and parts match work orders or job tickets
- Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects
- Self-monitor quality of own work and report unusual, defective, or operating difficulties to lead or supervisor
- Complete tasks within designed quality guidelines
- Accurately document work performed using required company documents and procedures
- Delivery
- Machine setup, fixture positioning, clamping, and setting welding parameters based on blueprints and instructions
- Create and modify robot welding programs using specialized software to define welding path and parameters
- Visually inspect welds for QA, including penetration, bead appearance, and dimensional accuracy
- Diagnose and resolve minor issues with the robot and welding process
- Complete tasks with minimum supervision

Qualifications
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
Required Experience
- Prior experience in manual or semi-automatic welding processes like MIG or TIG welding
- Familiarity with robotic programming software, even basic knowledge to modify existing programs
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within precise standards
- Overhead crane operation
- Self-driven, able to work independently and as a team
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
