Overview
The Enterprise Account Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with SoundHound AI’s most valued Enterprise clients. This is a dynamic, high-impact role where creativity, strategic thinking, and decisive action are essential. You will work closely with the Director of Account Management and tackle a mix of platform-based, personnel-related, and external-factor challenges. The role suits someone who thrives in high-energy environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with SoundHound AI’s top-tier Enterprise accounts, primarily within the restaurant sector.
- Act as the primary post-sales point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
- Oversee account health through ongoing reporting, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and strategic expansion planning.
- Partner with clients to identify and resolve platform-related issues, escalating internally when necessary.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the client experience and address high-priority escalations.
- Monitor industry trends and client business changes to proactively identify opportunities for upsell or product adoption.
- Support revenue and sales operations initiatives to drive account growth and retention.
- Develop trusting, deep relationships with customers to ensure long-lasting partnerships.
- Identify bugs and help solve existing problems; oversee post-sales components including reporting, QBRs, and expansion opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally to enhance each client’s overall experience and handle escalations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, STEM, or related field.
- Experience:
- Enterprise-level account management experience with organizations generating $100M+ in revenue annually or operating 1,000+ locations.
- 10+ years of working with VP- and C-level executives.
- Background in one or more of the following: 3rd-party on-demand delivery, food tech, service industry IT, restaurants/hospitality, voice or AI technologies.
- Previous experience in customer service, enterprise technology, telecom, startup environments, or related fields.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strategic problem-solving abilities with a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure.
- Ability to navigate both technical and interpersonal challenges effectively.
- High adaptability and comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work nights and weekends when needed.
- Willingness to travel 10–15% of the time.

Location and compensation
This position is available for remote work across most of the United States. SoundHound AI does not offer employment in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Employees within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office on three pre-scheduled, company-wide core days per month to encourage cross-team connection and in-person collaboration.
The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 to $155,000 plus variable pay and equity. In addition to salary and equity, you will receive comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits.
