Hazardous Waste Manager

ProSidian is seeking a Hazardous Waste Manager for Environmental Consulting and Management Services. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Hazardous Waste Manager in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as City of Tallahassee (TLH) | Department of Environmental Services & Facilities Management.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Develop and implement waste management programs in compliance with RCRA, CERCLA, and local regulations.
• Conduct facility inspections for proper hazardous material storage.
• Create waste reduction and recycling initiatives tailored to City operations.

Desired qualifications for Hazardous Waste Manager include:

• Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with waste auditing techniques.

Education/experience requirements/qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field; 58 years in hazardous waste operations.
• HAZWOPER certification required; knowledge of safety standards for hazardous materials storage and transport.

• Work includes potential exposure to hazardous materials; protective equipment is mandatory.
