Overview

A & Associates in Orlando, FL is looking to hire Waste Management Helpers. This is a great opportunity with immediate openings and weekly pay. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, engaged, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisors to determine which truck and areas have been assigned for garbage pickup tasks.
• Assist garbage truck drivers in mapping proper routes by using GPS or standard maps.
• Navigate to destinations efficiently while prioritizing timeliness.
• Empty trash cans into the garbage truck and ensure receptacles are placed back in their proper areas.
• Avoid blocking main entrances, porches, and mailboxes with garbage containers.
• Navigate to garbage disposal areas as assigned by supervisors and ensure garbage is properly stored/put away.
• Provide customers with information and education on proper garbage disposal methods.
• Wear proper safety gear to prevent sickness and contamination.
• Create and maintain effective liaison with the dispatch team, providing status updates throughout the day.
• Work with supervisors to provide on-the-job training to newly hired garbage truck helpers as part of training initiatives.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Legal eligibility for employment in the U.S. (as applicable).
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to comply with background checks and drug testing as applicable based on the job assignment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
