  • Work Location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209
  • Pay: $15.25 per hour
  • Start Date: Mid-November with positions available throughout the season.
  • Seasonal: This position runs from Mid-November to Late March, aligning with our winter ski and summer bike seasons. Seasonal work is temporary and tied to specific times of the year.
  • Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

If you are neat and tidy, join Snowshoe Mountain Resort! The custodial role includes removing solid waste from Snowshoe Village and business units daily, monitoring compactors, and managing recycling and hazardous waste programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain Snowshoe compactors, report issues promptly.
  • Ensure compactors are operational, clean, and emptied as needed.
  • Keep compactor areas and trash cans clean and organized.
  • Manage trash and recyclables, including special recyclables.
  • Coordinate with Pocahontas Recycle and handle special waste needs.
  • Report equipment issues, maintain cleanliness, and complete reports.
  • Arrive on time, wear appropriate attire, and participate in training.
  • Contribute to team efforts and achieve results as directed.

Driving Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program.

Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to move a pull trailer attached to a pickup.
  • Ability to operate a standard shift truck.
  • Knowledge of Snowshoe Mountain and department locations is helpful.
