Job Purpose and Impact

The Production Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating processes at our Blair, Nebraska location, which includes a local industrial wastewater treatment facility. You will oversee safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure employee, food, and feed safety and environmental compliance standards and goals are implemented.
• Be accountable for all internal and external operating and regulatory procedures related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, aligning with corporate and government standards.
• Establish and deploy operational priorities for one or multiple plants with moderate complexity.
• Lead operations and quality management to meet customer, product, and quality standards within specifications.
• Manage capital and operating budgets to achieve financial performance objectives.
• Ensure direct reports meet operating expense targets.
• Oversee operational management and implement efficiency improvements, including standardization of systems, quality control, safety, and maintenance practices.
• Lead, develop, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operating License or willingness to obtain one.
