Hazardous Waste Specialist/Project Manager Job at A.D. Marble &Co in King of Pru

A.D. Marble is looking for a full-time Hazardous Waste Specialist/Project Manager with 5 to 10 years of experience. This position allows for a flexible/hybrid work environment.

This individual will serve as a Hazardous Waste Specialist and a Project Manager. Responsibilities include managing the waste and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) components of projects. Candidate should possess knowledge in technical and regulatory requirements for a broad range of environmental subject areas, including PADEP Act 2 requirements, PennDOT Publication 281, and NEPA. Candidate should possess OSHA 40-hour certification.

Job duties include:

      Managing budgets, coordinating with task managers, and developing client relationships for the waste components of our projects

      Conducting field work and preparing reports for PennDOT Phase I, II, and III (soil and groundwater) Environmental Site Assessments

      Possessing strong knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements for PADEP Act 2 regulations

      Presenting at client and agency meetings

Skills and abilities should include:

      Educational background with B.S. in Environmental Science or related discipline

      Asbestos and lead-based paint certifications preferred, but not required

      Taking initiative and working in a team environment

      Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

      Ability to manage multiple tasks
