Responsibilities:

As an Industrial Waste Water Technician, your responsibilities will include managing waste water treatment processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining equipment. You will work in various locations, handle chemicals safely, and perform chemical calculations and analysis.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work extended or flexible hours
• Strong mechanical background and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and industrial electricity
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and integrated equipment
• Mechanical ability, math skills, and disciplined data recording
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle chemicals per MSDS

Physical Demands:

Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs, 80% standing/walking, 15% computer work, 5% kneeling/crouching

Tools Used:

Hand tools, power tools, forklift, lifts, computer, pallet jack

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in industrial waste water treatment, preferably 4 years as an operator
• Knowledge of regulations, chemical analysis, and plant startup experience preferred
• Forklift certification required

Additional Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
