We are currently seeking Project Engineers responsible for supporting the project team, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget on our Heavy Civil and Underground Water & Wastewater Projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with scope of work, bid package development, and soliciting contractors and suppliers.
- Participating in pre-construction and ongoing meetings.
- Maintaining and distributing project schedules weekly.
- Managing permits, drawings, submittals, change orders, and back charges.
- Recording labor, equipment, and other job costs; processing delivery tickets for payment.
- Producing and sharing production and cash flow reports.
- Supporting project closeout activities, final quantities, change orders, and releases.
Work qualifications include:
- Knowledge of production methods and resource coordination
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Strong follow-through on delegated tasks
- Ability to produce accurate, timely results
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Willingness to travel
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Master’s preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive construction experience
- Experience with ADOT/CMAR projects is a plus
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Suretrax (Primavera), Prolog/Expedition, CAD, or similar software
- Strong knowledge of CSI codes, specs, and standards
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record
