Key Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager

• Serve as the Accounting Manager, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team, promoting accuracy, efficiency, and growth
• Partner closely with operations and leadership to provide actionable financial insights
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
• Act as the point person for banking relationships, insurance policies, and tax compliance
• Improve and implement accounting systems and processes to scale with company growth
• Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board
  
  

Qualifications Of The Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Accounting Manager or some type of recent leadership experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience optimizing its use in a growing business environment
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
• Experience working in real estate, hospitality, or luxury service industries is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
