About the Opportunity
Step into a corporate accounting role with broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, insurance, and consolidations. This Accounting Manager position sits at the corporate level of a $1B+ private equity–backed manufacturing company and offers the chance to work directly with approachable leadership while gaining visibility across the organization.

You’ll report to a respected leader who takes a mentorship-driven approach, providing guidance while empowering you to grow. This is an ideal role for a Senior Accountant ready for the next step or an established Accounting Manager looking for a broader corporate platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Own key parts of the month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, intercompany accounting, and consolidations.
  • Lead preparation of internal/external financial statements and investor reporting packages.
  • Support technical accounting topics such as lease accounting (ASC 842).
  • Manage corporate allocations (IT, Legal, HR, etc.) and oversee insurance accounting (medical, workers comp, liability).
  • Assist with annual financial statements and footnote disclosures.
  • Partner with leadership on process improvement initiatives to strengthen controls and efficiency.
  • Gain exposure to executive leadership and private equity investors.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of accounting experience (public accounting, public/private mix, or industry).
  • Strong technical accounting foundation (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to partner with leadership, explain complex accounting issues, and drive process improvements.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Direct mentorship from a highly respected leader.
  • Broad exposure across technical, consolidations, insurance, and investor reporting.
  • Opportunity to grow or transition into divisional finance leadership.
  • Collaborative, approachable leadership team in a growing private equity–backed company.
