We have partnered with a well-known real estate company in the Woodstock area seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial and compliance audits
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings
- Lead system improvements and automation of accounting processes
- Mentor, train, and evaluate performance of accounting team members
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and initiatives
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Serve as the point of contact for accounting-related inquiries and issue resolution
- Support ERP system implementation, upgrades, and integrations related to finance modules
