Overview

Accounting Manager – 33785. Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all core accounting functions and provide financial leadership across the division. This role manages general ledger activities, tax, capital expenditures, asset management, compliance reporting, reconciliations, forecasting support, monthly close, inventory management, and timely financial statements. The position also leads the credit & collections team.

Compensation: To $125K, plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, reporting, and internal control activities in compliance with GAAP
• Manage month-end close, corporate and divisional reporting, and ensure strong internal controls
• Serve as a financial partner to division leadership, providing insights into commercial and production operations
• Oversee implementation and communication of accounting policies, system improvements, and audit processes
• Provide analytical support to drive cost improvements and operational efficiency
• Develop, mentor, and support growth of the accounting, credit/collections, and tax teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience

Preferred

• CPA or CMA certification
• Leadership experience (1+ years)
• Background in manufacturing
• ERP or accounting systems experience
