Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Addison Group has teamed up with a Fortune 500 industry leader to hire an Accounting Manager for a high-visibility role. This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented accounting team, partner cross-functionally, and contribute directly to strategic decision-making within a global organization.

In this role, you’ll oversee critical accounting functions, ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. You’ll also play a key role in driving process improvements, supporting business planning and forecasting, and mentoring a team of high-performing accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring financial results are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal policies
• Prepare and review recurring reports and account reconciliations; analyze data, explain variances, and recommend adjustments
• Collaborate with business partners across departments to address accounting issues, support planning/forecasting, and provide financial insights to leadership
• Partner with auditors and assist with compliance requirements by preparing documentation and responding to information requests
• Continuously evaluate processes, recommend improvements, and leverage technology to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants to drive both professional growth and strong team performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA and/or public accounting background strongly preferred)
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
