What You’ll Do
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare, verify, and process invoices, expense reports, and payments with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of financial documents in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing reports and assisting with journal entries.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department to keep operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical finance role.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools; strong spreadsheet skills are a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management abilities—you can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected and collaborative.
