Overview

Our client is a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturing company experiencing double-digit year-over-year growth. Recently acquired by a multi-billion dollar public company, they are scaling their operations and investing in top talent to support their continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
• Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage job costing, WIP reporting, and cost accounting processes for manufacturing operations.
• Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Business Unit Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Identify and drive process improvements across accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure ERP system is properly utilized to capture and report on job costing and manufacturing activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing environments.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, job costing, and WIP accounting.
• ERP system experience required (manufacturing ERP strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
