Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Our client is a financial technology company. They seek an Accounting Associate to join their Stamford, CT office.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and ensure bills are approved, paid, and booked
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and ensure cash receipts are received and booked
  • Review employee expense reimbursements and corporate card transactions
  • Handle monthly credit card reconciliation and bank reconciliations for multiple entities
  • Maintain fixed asset schedule and book monthly depreciation
  • Coordinate prepaid expense schedule and book monthly amortization
  • Calculate, review, and record accrued income and expenses
  • Support the year-end filing of 1099s
  • Complete ad hoc requests and projects

Requirements

  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Big 4 accounting background
  • Finance/FinTech industry experience
  • Professional and proactive demeanor
  • Analytical with keen attention to detail
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Skilled in Excel and NetSuite
