Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Overview Our client, a mission driven real estate firm in Bethesda, MD, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to help lead its accounting department. The accounting manager will manage a team of five and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the central accounting department to include all general accounting functions. Responsibilities Accounting functions including property accounting, bond/fund accounting and accounting operations Oversee the agency audit Plan, organize and direct the preparation of all financial statements Design and implement a cash management system Review, approve or correct financial records produced from Yardi Manage staff, conduct performance reviews Qualifications Seven years of accounting experience required Two years of experience in a managerial role required Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, governmental accounting, grant, cost accounting, bonds Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Veritas Partners by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
