The Accounting Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting department. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in various accounting functions, including data entry, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. The intern will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and contribute to the preparation of financial statements under the guidance of senior accountants. This role offers an opportunity to understand the financial operations specific to manufacturing. Ultimately, the intern will gain practical knowledge and skills that are essential for a career in accounting and finance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or coursework related to accounting in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management principles.
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
