Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a strategic technology and services firm who is seeking seasoned Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is on a temp-to-perm basis, offering the opportunity to transition into a permanent position. As the Interim Accounting Manager, you will oversee a team of 4 professionals and ensure the seamless financial operations of our client's organization. This is a 100% remote work opportunity.

Title: Interim Accounting Manager
Location: Remote, eastern or central time zones preferred
Hourly Rate: $60 to $70/hr.
Job Type: Interim role with potential for conversion

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 1 in India who oversees a team of 3 processing transactions.
• Calculate revenue allocations between 3 entities.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Work closely with the CFO for reporting and results analysis.
• Support our CPA firm during financial audits.
• Conduct thorough reviews of payroll processes.
• Produce clean financial statements and manage general ledger upkeep.

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager.
• Understanding of the tax implications between entities which are a mix of C Corp and LLC
• Experience with sales and use taxes, researching requirements as company enters new jurisdictions.
• Solid accounting expertise and able to handle day to day accounting functions
• Strong systems proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills including strategic consideration and thinking about the future.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working with senior leadership.
