Job Description:

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing clerical and accounting support duties to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
• Counting daily cash deposits and tracking deposits made to the bank.
• Monitoring and reconciling credit card charges.
• Developing and maintaining an organized financial filing system.
• Assembling financial data and documentation for audits.
• Assisting with payroll processes.
• Collaborating with department managers to help implement financial plans.
• Following established guidelines for the use and protection of financial and confidential information.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.

Experience:
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting or financial clerical experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of financial and accounting practices and procedures.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and credit card transaction tracking.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
