You’ll lead day-to-day accounting for income-producing assets and development projects, work cross-functionally with smart people, and drive process improvements in a high-performing environment. What You’ll Do: Lead property + development accounting for a growing real estate portfolio Manage monthly close, reporting, and financial packages (internal + lenders) Interpret complex lease terms, CAM reconciliations, and tenant chargebacks Oversee fixed assets, construction-in-progress, and intercompany activity Support budgets, forecasts, 1031 exchanges, and tax/treasury deliverables Mentor junior team members and drive improvements in Yardi and Excel What You’ll Bring: 5–8 years of real estate accounting experience (commercial/development) 2+ years of team leadership Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred, not required) Advanced Excel + strong GAAP knowledge Proficiency in Yardi Voyager (multi-module experience a plus) Experience with CAM, intercompany transactions, and lender reporting Public accounting background (Big 4 or mid-tier) is a plus Strong communicator with a sharp eye for detail and process Why You’ll Like It Here: Competitive comp + bonus Room to grow and lead Hybrid flexibility (Mon–Wed in Santa Monica office) Collaborative culture with high standards and zero ego Ready to take the lead in real estate accounting?
