Unit Secretary - ER at Texas Health Resources
Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours: Full Time Nights (7P-7A); 36 hrs/week. Days will vary.
Texas Health Fort Worth is an 851-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital that has served the Fort Worth community since 1930. We offer advanced care in cardiovascular services, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, sports medicine, and emergency medicine. We are also home to a kidney transplant program and support Graduate Medical Education (GME).
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patients, and other customers.
- Maintains acceptable organizational skills and communicates effectively.
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in schedule and workload to meet changing patient or unit needs.
- Uses interpersonal relationship skills to communicate with patients, families, co-workers, physicians, and other customers.
- Maintains Unit Secretary skills and assists with documentation that supports hospital and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually; 90 Days Required.
- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, with positive interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
