The position will provide executive administrative support to the Director of the Bureau of Tax Policy and the Administrator of the Tax Policy Division. Employee will supervise, direct and coordinate delivery of administrative support services provided to professional staff of the bureau. Responsibilities include providing executive support to the bureau director and division administrator, and supervising, coordinating and assigning workload for two General Office Assistants. Position handles confidential/sensitive documents, maintains calendars and schedules, and performs executive assistance tasks as necessary.

Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Seven years of administrative support experience where use of a personal computer to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, etc., or to enter/retrieve/update information is an essential part of the work, including four years equivalent to advanced (8) level administrative support work, Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8; three years equivalent to a Secretary 9 or Senior Executive Management Assistant 9; two years equivalent to an Executive Secretary E10; or, one year equivalent to an Executive Secretary 11 or Senior Executive Management Assistant 11.

This position is eligible to work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and must work onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Selected candidate must have a safe and appropriate designated workspace or workstation for performance of work and secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Work must be performed in the state of Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed.
