Responsibilities

  • Experience with Epic Medical Records System and/or Meditech strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a surgical practice strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to follow through with tasks to completion
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively and accurately follow directions or instructions

  • Experience with surgical scheduling preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare and health insurance, required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and general office protocol required
  • Typing 45-60 words per minute and exceptional organizational strengths are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred) and at least two years of related MD office/healthcare experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this position is $34.74 - $35.91 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. Final salary will be determined based on factors including scope of role, experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and Fair Market Value evaluation.
