Company Description
The Klein Family Harford Crisis Center (KFHCC) is a comprehensive, trauma-informed behavioral health hub that uses evidence-based modalities to serve the community. All aspects of crisis response behavioral healthcare are offered directly by the KFHCC, including an Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic, an Outpatient Therapy/Psychiatry Clinic, and short-term Residential Crisis Beds. Targeted education is provided in the community to help eliminate stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders.
Job Description
Under direct supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Office Coordinator, greets and directs patients and visitors effectively and courteously. Schedules appointments and collects medical records and billing information prior to the patient being seen by the physician. Answers phones, responds to patient messages to providers and other staff. Accurately collects and distributes medical information into patients’ charts. Monitors appearance of waiting room and notifies supervisor of emergencies in the waiting room area. Team member will at all times respond to patients, visitors and co-workers in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner.
Qualifications
Education & Training: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have either one (1) year of previous customer service experience or completed an accredited or approved Administrative Assistant program within the last 12 months.
Work Orientation & Experience: Previous work experience is preferred.
Schedule
Week 1 — Monday 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 9pm
Week 2 — Sunday 8:30am – 9pm, Monday 8:30am – 5pm
Compensation
Pay Range: $17.00 – $22.80
