A premier nationwide law firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their downtown Tampa office.

This is a full-time, on-site, Temp-to-Hire position and starts right away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling litigation matters in both State and Federal Courts
• Working independantly on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation, and eDiscovery
• E-filing in both State and Federal Court
• Case management, docketing, document review, trial prep
• Support attorneys and paralegals
• Maintaining organized case files and ensuring accurate, timely updates

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Florida State and Federal Rules.
• Ability to work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery.
• Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
• Experience with insurance defense and commercial litigation is a must.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
• Detail-oriented, able to manage deadlines, and stay on task independently
