Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting clients and taking accurate messages, including proper contact information, when individuals are unavailable
• Receiving deliveries and handling faxes
• Preparing and drafting legal documents for filing and correspondence
• Ensuring the accuracy of all documents
• Performing administrative duties such as research, filing, mailing, organizing files, and calendaring
• Conducting legal research using various resources
• Making copies and entering billable hours into billing software daily
• Performing other tasks as requested by Firm Management

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Law firm experience preferred
• Domestic law experience preferred
• Familiarity with PC programs
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in family law or litigation is a plus for senior positions
