Overview

Throughput Unit Secretary/Monitor Technician Float FT Nights role at Englewood Hospital. Supports Patient Care Services in various roles which may include: Unit Secretary on clinical units coordinating daily clerical operations; Monitor Tech on telemetry units; Bed Controller supporting patient throughput.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clerical operations on clinical units as Unit Secretary.
• Monitor telemetry units as Monitor Technician.
• Assist with bed management to support patient throughput.

Location and Schedule

Location: Englewood, NJ

Status: Full-time

Shift: Nights

Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am

Qualifications

• Basic typing skills
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of medical abbreviation and terminology
• Effective communication skills
• Successful completion of the Basic Dysrhythmia Course and annual competency exam
• Demonstrated knowledge of monitoring equipment
• Ability to sit for long periods/shift
• Direct patient contact for lead placement

Education Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent required

Compensation

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. Minimum rate: $17.00 per hour. The rate of pay is determined based on factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
