Role Purpose Statement

As a customer-focused leader, you will serve as a vital link between the Customer Service Center (CSC) and the airline(s). You will coordinate and oversee menu presentations and site visits while addressing performance issues and fulfilling customer requests.

Main Accountabilities

Account Management

  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with assigned account(s), serving as the primary liaison between the CSC, airline partners, and the Key Account Manager.
  • Ensure precise billing and provisioning for airline clients.
  • Maintain daily par levels and inventory control to meet customer standards.
  • Accurately track equipment inventory in a timely manner.
  • Guarantee the on-time departure of all flights according to catering guidelines.
  • Assist respective departments with airline cycle changes.
  • Oversee compliance with customer specifications, policies, and safety regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP) in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
  • Keep updated customer specifications and manage modifications effectively.
  • Incorporate the airlines' measurement system into departmental processes.
  • Facilitate customer evaluations of the CSC, relay feedback to department managers, and ensure prompt responses.
  • Monitor CSC compliance with airline safety expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive flight attendant comment and delay database.
  • Support the Executive Chef in delivering menu presentations and participate in Chef tables.
  • Track and report on quality scores.
  • Ensure par levels of customer-specific inventory are maintained.
  • Engage in special projects for customers as required.

Leadership

  • Ensure a well-organized, staffed, and directed area of responsibility.
  • Guide, motivate, and develop team members in alignment with Human Resources policies.
  • Participate in coaching and development initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and potential.
  • Embody and promote the company's values and management principles within the department.
  • Plan, implement, and manage the budget for the area of responsibility, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Support corporate initiatives such as Global Quality Standard (GQS), HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Employee Safety.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Three to five years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, training, and interpersonal relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and meet customer expectations.
  • Proven experience with product and labor cost variance drivers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant computer applications.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
