IDS International seeks Cleared American Guards (CAG) to provide physical security for Department of State construction projects worldwide, 24/7. CAGs monitor perimeter security systems and manage access control, including positive identification of workers gaining access to the site and facility. They perform access control at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances during the project period.

This position requires a one-year contract outside the continental US (OCONUS).

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect persons, packages, bags, vehicles, and other items entering the site for prohibited or questionable materials.
2. Deny entry of prohibited items such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other specified items.
3. Conduct random inspections of site areas to ensure no prohibited materials are present; report suspicious materials or incidents to the SSM or TL.
4. Monitor perimeter and secure areas via government-furnished CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
5. Rove the site after-hours as directed to protect Controlled Access Areas and materials.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Completion of DoD SE 630 (CAG course)
• At least three years of military experience as a Military Police Officer, Marine Security Guard, or similar, including security duties with alarm systems, metal detectors, X-ray devices, and CCTV. Honorable discharge required if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED
• Meet medical and physical fitness requirements; able to deploy to remote locations for up to one year with medications.
• Active passport
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
