Overview

American Health Network, part of Optum, seeks a Primary Care Physician to join our Trafalgar, IN team. Optum is a clinician-led care organization focused on improving healthcare and supporting clinicians with resources, data, and collaboration in a diverse, inclusive environment.

As part of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality, value-based care within a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Position Highlights

• Physician-led, patient-centered, team-based environment
• Provide care across the continuum with a focus on value-based care, supported by a robust team of specialists
• Procedures may include simple skin surgery, fracture care, joint injections, maternity care, IUDs, etc.
• Full-time with a schedule of 4 or 4.5 workdays per week
• Must be comfortable working with advanced providers

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary care within a value-based care framework
• Collaborate with specialists and care teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in a team-based care model aimed at improving health outcomes

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical licensure in Indiana or ability to obtain prior to start
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range listed as $226,000 to $366,000 per year; base pay and bonus dependent on experience and performance
