Overview Organization: American Bankers Association (ABA) Position: Program Manager, Member Sales Reports To: Vice President, Membership Sales Location: Washington, DC/Hybrid Are you a highly resourceful and detail-oriented customer service/account management professional who has a positive attitude and enjoys sales? The American Bankers Association (ABA), the organization representing banking institutions of all asset sizes and charter types, is seeking a Program Manager of Member Sales to join the Membership team. Responsibilities As the Program Manager of Member Sales, you will analyze potential members through research, calling, and email campaigns to identify the best candidates for recruitment and retention. You will support the Regional Directors throughout their sales cycles, providing in-depth analysis and research on potential members, and manage post-visit/recruitment follow-up, using the information gleaned during the recruitment process to develop an individualized plan for each bank to engage with ABA. You will make decisions about products and services that will meet the needs of members. This position will also represent ABA in the field by visiting banks, as well as being the face of ABA at conferences and other events, requiring up to 20% travel. The Program Manager supports the Membership department’s goals for meeting engagement benchmarks among banks with up to $10 billion in assets. This position reports to the Vice President of Membership Sales/Regional Director. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or related field; or commensurate experience 2+ years of experience in sales, customer support, relationship/account management, or in a customer-facing support role Experience with the Microsoft suite of products, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel Comfort in a sales role that includes cold calling How To Apply If you believe you meet the qualification requirements, please submit a resume and cover letter to the following job link!
