HEAD BREWER

Cellarman's is a Locally owned Pub & Brewery that has been a destination for Great Hand Crafted food and brews since 1998. We are small enough to do some creative things that larger breweries can't. We have a state of the art system that includes a 10BBL custom jet fired stainless brewhouse, 3-10BBL fermenters, 2-20BBL fermenters, 20 BBL CLT, 13.2 gallon kegs for ease of handling and other top of the line equipment efficiently set up for a single brewer.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Brewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2.5 years of brewing experience with a strong background in craft beer production and a keen understanding of the brewing process. As a Brewer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beers while ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This role requires both creativity and technical expertise, making it an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about the art of brewing. You will be solely responsible for all aspects of the brewing process from ordering ingredients to kegging. We do not distribute offsite, bottle or can. Our quality brews are produced only for our customers enjoyment on site.

Duties

  • Operate brewing equipment to produce beer according to established recipes and specifications.
  • Monitor fermentation processes and adjust parameters as necessary to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of brewing equipment, work areas, and storage facilities.
  • Keep accurate records and inventory, including tracking raw materials and finished goods.

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of craft beer production techniques and processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining brewing equipment.
  • Understanding of food safety protocols to ensure product integrity.
  • Ability to sanitize equipment effectively to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Proficiency in brewing methods, including mashing, boiling, fermentation, and conditioning.
  • Have the creativity to create seasonals and specialty brews.
  • This position is for those willing to be a One-Man-Show. Proactive and extremely clean and organized.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
based on experience

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
