Opportunity Overview

LSA is seeking American Sign Language Interpreters for a client in Salt Lake City, UT. Interpreters in the LSA network are independently contracted and can negotiate their fees based on experience, credentials, and market factors.

Network interpreters can accept or decline assignments as per their schedule. They gain opportunities for challenging assignments and industry experience. Punctuality and commitment to accepted assignments are expected. Access to a web-based invoicing platform and 24-hour support is provided.

Location

Candidates must be in, near, or able to travel to Salt Lake City, UT.

Role Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor degree
• RID certification
• State’s QA level certification
• Proof of license or registration
• Fluency in English and ASL
• Knowledge of interpreting ethics
• Experience in medical/mental health settings
