Position Overview This role involves supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations. It offers a flexible schedule and minimal time commitment, providing an excellent opportunity to earn additional income while supporting APPs through collaborative oversight. Essential Responsibilities Serve as a Collaborative Physician in accordance with applicable laws and the APP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement. Meet all state-specific requirements for collaborators. Conduct quarterly comprehensive quality reviews of APPs' patient charts in person, using provided audit forms that require signatures from both the APP and the Collaborator. Qualifications Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school. Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or a related specialty. Eligibility for full credentialing. Valid medical license to practice in Alabama. Previous experience in urgent care or emergency settings is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
