Job Summary

Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists in the distribution and processing of prescriptions, and the sale of over-the-counter medications. Enters prescription data into the computer, performs billing and file maintenance, receives payments, and assists in stocking and inventory management. Interacts and communicates with the public and reports to pharmacists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
