Responsibilities

• Search designated airport areas (e.g., parking garages, baggage claims, rental car facilities, rideshare zones) to locate and collect equipment.
• Return retrieved equipment to assigned storage areas at airline ticket counters or gates.
• Conduct routine sweeps of high-traffic zones to maintain equipment organization and accessibility.
• Collect and inspect wheelchairs for damage or mechanical issues.
• Perform basic repairs or escalate maintenance needs as necessary.
• Maintain accurate wheelchair inventory records through routine counts and proper documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Physical requirements: must be able to frequently lift/move up to 70 lbs; continuously push/pull up to 70 lbs; and continuously walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Working conditions: able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, overtime; able to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
