Overview
Cybersecurity Specialist at Switchgear Power Systems. Responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect IT systems and data. This role will help ensure compliance with industry regulations and safeguard the organization against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents.
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Educate staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- Maintain security systems such as firewalls, anti-virus, and endpoint protection.

- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM preferred.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and threat management.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, or ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM preferred.
