The Cyber Security Engineer III plans and designs security solutions and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Responsibilities Define and develop security requirements using risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and analysis of existing systems. Develop security integration plans to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions. Create action plans for policy creation and governance, system hardening, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and addressing emerging cybersecurity threats. Utilize security information and event management (SIEM), data loss prevention (DLP), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other tools in action plan designs. Review current architecture and systems to ensure consistency and compliance with the organization's guidelines, policies, and standards. Stay informed on the latest cyber threat information and adapt security plans accordingly. Qualifications 7 years of related experience with any of the following areas: SIEM, DLP, IPS, and other tools in action plan designs; defining and developing security requirements using risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and analysis of existing systems; developing security integration plans to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions; creating action plans for policy creation and governance, system hardening, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and emerging cybersecurity threats. Bonus points for: Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Eligibility Requirements: Requires an active TS/SCI and will need to obtain and maintain CI polygraph. Compensation and Benefits As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in specified states and territory locations. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation varies based on location, role, skills, and experience.
