This position involves administrative and technical support for securing and maintaining the computing and network infrastructure for the School of Business Technology and Law at CCBC, focusing on both isolated and cloud teaching environments across campuses.

**Qualifications:**

  • Associate’s degree in cybersecurity, programming, or an IT-related field with three years of full-time cybersecurity experience, OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field with one year of experience.
  • Security+ and Network+ certifications required within six months of employment. CCNA, Azure, AWS, and other related certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with fewer than five points.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and document existing cloud and isolated teaching environments.
  • Design, test, implement, and document enhancements to these environments.
  • Support faculty-reported issues related to the cybersecurity teaching environment.
  • Develop maintenance and deployment schedules to meet teaching needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors to install and maintain third-party appliances and products.
  • Research, develop, and implement new products and technologies.
  • Provide technical support for cybersecurity program development.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and network activities remain isolated without affecting production networks.
  • Support system software and hardware troubleshooting for on-premises and cloud systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure related to cybersecurity classes.
  • Support upgrades, rollouts, and special projects.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot servers and related equipment, ensuring stability of Windows and Linux servers.
  • Coordinate software implementations for on-premises and remote use.
  • Prototype cybersecurity applications and appliances for the teaching environment.
  • Assist in configuring servers for student challenges and support Azure cloud environment configuration.
  • Serve as the first contact for the Baltimore Cyber Range.
  • Schedule and support student online sessions and visitor demonstrations at various campuses.
